UPDATE: Nairobi County announces new land rates effective January 1, 2025.
For land not exceeding 0.1 hectares, the new rate is Ksh 2,560 per year, while land between 0.1 and 0.2 hectares will be charged Ksh 3,200 per year.
Landowners with land between 0.2 and 0.4 hectares will pay Ksh 4,000 per year and those with land exceeding 0.4 hectares will pay Ksh 4,800 per year.
The rate for residential, commercial, agricultural and all private and public valuation properties is set at 0.115% of the land’s value per year.
