KNEC dismiss reports of illegally changing KCSE marks for students.

KNEC Chief Executive David Njeng’ere reiterated that all results are processed under strict guidelines to uphold the integrity of national examinations. He also highlighted the council’s efforts to counteract cheating through reforms such as personalizing examination papers with candidate details. This initiative ensures greater accountability and prevents impersonation, a problem identified in past examinations.

Additionally, KNEC has implemented measures to prevent malpractice, including eliminating extra copies of exam papers at test centers and restricting candidates to only the subjects for which they registered. These changes aim to curb cheating and maintain the trustworthiness of Kenya’s education system.no
