Good morning,

It is on a lovely Friday morning and the politics surrounding the 2027 elections seem to have garnered more momentum.

While President William Ruto struggled on Jamhuru Day to wash down criticism of his administration’s projects over the last two and a half years, Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua was busy sending signals on a probable dalliance with former DP Rigathi Gachagua.

In a direct defense of Gachagua, Karua said the impeachment was a sham. She, however, insisted that she was not a fan of Gachagua because when he had the opportunity, he abused it.

Nevertheless, she added that she stand for justice for him, adding that parliament was misused to impeach the former DP. Se reminded Ruto that power was transient and that the national assembly had failed to stand with Kenyans on issues affecting them.

While Karua was busy defendingGachagua, Ruto was struggling to address his critics whom he accused of mounting opposition to his transformative agenda based on inaccurate representation of facts and outright disinformation.
