Neil Wigan OBE, British high commissioner delivered the historical archives that dated 1907 to 1968 to President William Ruto on Friday at an event celebrating the inscription of the Gedi national monument as a UNESCO world heritage site.
These files include the Mau Mau records of collective punishment and detainees. Information on prominent personell like Kenyatta, Tom Mboya, Joseph Nyagah among others.
President Ruto stated that this was a historic moment as Kenyans would now be able to better tell their stories.
