Nairobi – President William Ruto has fired two Cabinet Secretaries in his latest changes in the government.
On Thursday, December 19, Ruto announced changes in his Cabinet, which saw the return of former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s close allies.
The president appointed Mutahi Kagwe, Lee Kinyanjui, and William Kabogo in his Cabinet.
Following the changes, the head-of-state equally sacked two Cabinet Secretaries, who were less than five months in office.
Ruto fired Andrew Karanja, who was the CS for Agriculture and Livestock Development, whose space was taken up by Kagwe.
The president also fired Margaret Njuguna, as the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication, and Digital Technology
Njuguna’s place was taken up by former Nakuru governor
Lee Kinyanjui.
